Soccer is a demanding sport that is predicated upon maximum acceleration and de-acceleration, dynamic lateral movements, quick feet and serious neuromuscular coordination. AOS emphasizes these aspects of performance in all workouts.
AOS training will improve:

- Overall strength, power, and athleticism relative to soccer through a comprehensive weight and/or general strength program
AOS PHILOSOPHY FOR ATHLETIC SUCCESS
As we mentioned on the home page, speed is a critical factor in all sport performance. We take a holistic approach to speed training that balances weight, cardio, and muscle workouts, and integrates techniques to improve mental drive and motivation. A saying that may be as old as civilized mankind itself truly applies to running: “Mind Over Matter” – AOS believes that speed is a skill that can be taught. Athletes can be made faster and more explosive with the right training techniques. We offer well planned programs that are centered around the following components:
- Proper acceleration techniques
- Sprint mechanics
- Sprint training
- Targeted strength training
INITIAL EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT
Upon initial evaluation athletes are assigned to Beginning, Intermediate, or Elite programs. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Membership levels are available for all levels of training.
SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY IN TRAINING
We at AOS are dedicated to providing a safe training environment for all of our athletes. We center on high-quality dynamic warm-ups, careful first-rate high intensity age appropriate training, and proper warm down and stretching routines. This helps to avoid both chronic and acute injury that can happen in high intensity speed, agility, and plyometric training.
